Chad Michael Murray was born August 24,1981, and was born in Buffalo, New York, USA. He was raised by his father along with his four siblings. His mother left when he was seven. He didn't get to see her until he was 18 and had already left Buffalo, New York for Los Angeles. He was nervous about seeing his mother for the first time in 11 years (who wouldn't).He co-stared with Lindsay Lohan in Freaky Friday as Jake. He also co-stared with Hilary Duff in A Cinderella Story as Austin Ames. Now he plays Lucas on One Tree Hill. Engaged to Sophia Bush a co-star on One Tree Hill who plays Brooke. He wanted to propose to Sophia by writing it in fireworks, but he couldn't have it arranged for the date. So he had "Sophia, will you marry me" written in candles.
