Good news! This school year we will have a family
reading program at our school library. The library will be open to students, parents and
community members on Tuesday evenings from 3:00 to 5:30 P.M. Students, parents and
community members will be able to check out books and access the Internet. Students will
be allowed to take Accelerated Reader tests supervised by a teacher. There will be a
teacher on duty to assist parents or students if needed. Our library will also have
available a Parent Resource Center. The goal of the parent center is to bring the home and
school together by providing parents with a variety of materials, equipment and
information that may be used at home to reinforce skills.
